Travel to Patra

To get to Patras by airplane, you can travel to Athens international Aiport (Eleftherios Venizelos).From there you can travel to Patras by train, or by bus from the kifissos station. Alternatively, you can travel to Patras by ferry from Italy (Ancona, Venice, Bari, Brindisi) or from the Ionian Islands.
The Rio-Antirio bridge is located just 5 km from patras, connecting patras with central and northern greece while the greek national road 9 passes through patras, connecting athens with the west peloponnese.

    Patra is the largest city of west greece with a population of 300.000 people. Patra is a port city located in the north-west of the Peloponnese peninsula. Patra's port is a nodal point for trade and communication with Italy and the rest of Europe.     Aegina is a popular destination for athenians, looking to spend their weekend in a nearby island. Being only 35 minutes away from Peiraus, it attracts a large number of athenians every weekend. Aegina is mostly considered a family place. There are not that many bars and night clubs, and if you are a party animal you will be better off going to paros, mykonos and other such islands.   • Travel to Aegina

    Aegina is a small island a few miles south of Peiraus. The easiest way to get to aegina is by boat from the port of peiraus. There are daily depertures of Flying Dolphins (hydrofoil ferries) for Aegina. With these very fast ferries, the trip to aegina lasts about 35 minutes. You cannot take your car or motorbike with you though. Use regular ferries if you want to take your car with you. Regular ferries cost less, but the trip lasts about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

    The Athens International Airport, which is also known as "Elefthérios Venizélos" (famous Greek politician) began operation on 29 March 2001. It is the airport that serves the city of Athens and the region of Attica. The airport is the major hub and base for Olympic Air, as well as Aegean Airlines.   • The National Gallery-Alexandros Soutzos Museum

    The National Gallery was built in 1900 and is the most important institution about the history of Greek and Western european art in our country. In 1954, under the management of Marinos Kaligas, the gallery merged with Alexander Soutsou's legacy and has since been known as, "The National Gallery-Alexandros Soutzos Museum". Since the building's completion the institute is situated on the corner of Vasileos Alexandrou and Mihalakopoulou in the heart of Athens.
