Travel to ... Icaria (ikaria) island

Icaria belongs to the dodekanese islands complex of Eastern Aegean sea. Icaria is located to the west of Samos and its first name was Dolichi but it was finally named after the Greek Mythology hero Icarus, the first man that ever managed to fly according to the deadalus and icarus myth.

Travel to ... Nafplio

Nafplio is a city 146km from Athens and 10 km from argos on the northeast side of peloponnese. It will take you about two hours by car to get there from the Eleftherios Venizelos airport in Athens. Nafplio was the first capital of Greece in 1829, after the greek revolution of 1821, and remained so until 1834, when Athens became the capital of Greece.

It is located by the sea of the Argolic Gulf and it has several beaches in the city and nearby areas. The Tolo village just outside Nafplio is a well known tourist destination that has some of the most beautiful beaches in the argolic gulf.

Travel to ... Elounda

Elounda is a town placed on the north-eastern coast of Crete, in the picturesque gulf of Mirabello. Elounda is 10km from Agios Nikolaos, the capital of Lassithi and 70Km from Heraklion. You can travel to Heraklion, either by plane to the international Airport Nikos Kazantzakis, or by ferry from Peiraus. You then can take a bus from Heraklion to Agios Nikolaos, and another bus from Agios Nikolaos to Elounda. A taxi directly from the Airport (about 70 Km) will cost around 60 Euros.

Lendas is a small village on the south coast of crete, around 70 km from heraklion airport. It will take you about two hours to travel to lendas by car from heraklion, since the road passes through two of the largest mountains in crete : Psiloritis and Asterousia. It's not easy, but it's well worth the effort. Your tiredness will fade away after a few hours in one of the most peaceful places in mediterranean.
